Life is a rollercoaster – 3 Inspirational Stories

“Understanding is the first step to acceptance, and only with acceptance can there be recovery.” – J.K. Rowling.

It is important for individuals to accept themselves and behave in ways that is a true reflection of who they are. In this day and age, young people feel the need to change their personalities and the way they look in order to be accepted by their peers. However, this is unhealthy and detrimental to their sense of self, and often leads to low self- esteem and lack of confidence. It is important that we accept ourselves for who we are, and exercise our right to be whoever we want to be.

The following are three examples of inspirational stories of people overcoming challenges and being who they really are:

Ryan Higa

A young, talented YouTuber and actor, Ryan Higa brings smiles to all his viewers. Even though his past has not been all positive, he has managed to overcome these challenges and now brings joy to himself and his viewers. For example, Ryan was bullied in school and spent most of his time alone. While this experience was terrible, through it, Ryan discovered that he enjoyed making people laugh, so he created a YouTube Channel where he uploaded hilarious videos.

In the beginning there were only a few people who saw his videos, but as his videos improved they started appearing on the homepage of YouTube, gaining him enormous popularity and recognition. Ryan’s experiences show how an individual can overcome life’s challenges and bring joy and happiness to people all over the world.

Ellen DeGeneres

We all know and love her, the queen of talk shows, the comedian who brings love and laughter to our living rooms every day. Ellen is funny, insightful, and spreads happiness to all her viewers. However, Ellen’s life has not always been full of laughter and happiness. In 1997, and after much speculation, Ellen came out as a lesbian.

This triggered a huge public fall out, eventually causing her to suffer from depression and anxiety.

Despite the risks associated with coming out as gay at the time, Ellen chose to face the public and be true to herself. We all know that she overcame this obstacle in her life, and is now one of the most well-loved and inspirational individuals on daytime television. She consistently dedicates parts of her show to help those who are in need, as a reflection of her own struggles.

Ellen overcame a number of challenges and obstacles to get to where she is today. She is now a well-loved comedian, and offers assistance and support to those who are in need. Through her struggles, Ellen has shown how anyone can move past life’s challenges, be true to themselves, and make a difference to the lives of many.

Finally, the twin brothers who are behind the YouTube Channel JacksGap, are a perfect example of positive people who are true to themselves, and bring happiness to themselves and people all over the world. For example, they support a number of charities, like Teenage Cancer Trust and the Rainbow Center.

Jack and Finn

Through their YouTube channel, and through their contribution to charities, Jack and Finn show how it is possible to use your influence to bring joy to others and spread happiness. In doing so, they are being true to themselves and to one of their many purposes in life, which ultimately leads to a greater sense of self and confidence, as they are helping others.

We believe that it is important to be true to yourself and behave in ways that are a true reflection of who you are. This can help you lead a meaningful life that is filled with joy, happiness, and love. Even though there might be some challenges in life, you can overcome them and live a happy and full life, just like Ryan Higa, Ellen DeGeneres, and Jack and Finn Harries.
